In June 8, 2015, commencement ceremony for fabrication of 1600t gantry crane steel structure were held smoothly, the 1600t gantry crane will be used by Jiangnan Ship Building Group in No.4 dock in Jiangnan Changxing shipbuilding base, made by ZPMC. With rail gauge 158m, rail length about 1000m, its working area will cover the whole dock and assembly worksite.
The project is an order of super large lifting capacity shipbuilding gantry crane received by ZPMC coming after 1600t gantry crane for domestic shipbuilding factory in 2010 and 2000t gantry crane for Brazil Keppel Shipyard in 2012.
For ZZHZ, the supper large gantry crane is 1200t used in Qingdao Bay Bridge construction project. To keep up with pace of the leading sheep in domestic market, we still need do a lot in fields like technology innovation, products updating, design improving and production specialization.
