What Makes the Diesel Generator Produce Electric Power Effectively?

The diesel engine is a kind of combustion motor. It is the device which can convert the heat energy released from the burned fuel into mechanic energy. It is a part of the generator unit. When it works, it drives diesel generator engine to run, and transforms the energy into electric power. In the cylinder of the diesel generator, the clean air mixes thoroughly with the atomizing diesel sprayed from the injection nozzle. Then it is pressed by the piston which runs upward, and contracted. After that, the temperature will increases rapidly to the ignition point of the diesel. Next, the mixed air will be burned and expanded, which will push the piston run downward. This cycling will be repeated ceaselessly. The force pushed on the piston can make the crankshaft rotate.

Now if we connect a brushless synchronous alternator with the crankshaft with a same shaft, the rotating diesel engine will cause the rotor of the diesel generator rotate. Because of the principle of electro-magnetic induction, the engine will output induced electromotive force which can produce electric current through the closed load circuit.

The diesel generator manufacturer produces many kinds of diesel generators every year. These diesel generators, regardless of the open shelves diesel generator or other types, play important role in the industry field and our daily lives. On the market, the diesel generators for sale are different on their structures because they are different in many kinds of aspects, such as the number of their cylinders, the arrangement of their cylinders and their cooling systems. However, they mainly consists of crankshaft connecting rod system, case package, valve gear, the air intake and exhaust system, the supply system, the lubrication system, the cooling system and the electrical system.

1 It needs fuel system to provide heat energy, including the fuel tank, the oil filter, the fuel injection pump and the injection nozzle.

2 It needs convert heat energy into mechanic energy, so the crankshaft connecting rod system is indispensable, including the cylinder body, the crank case, cylinder lid, piston, piston pin, connecting rod and flywheel.

3 It still needs a set of valve gear to absorb fresh air and discharge dust air periodically. It involves the intake valve, the exhaust valve, cam shaft and driving components.

4 In order to reduce the loss of friction and guarantee every component stay in normal temperature, it should have cooling system consisted of water pump, radiator, thermostat, fan and water jacket, and the lubrication system consisted of oil pump, oil filter and oil passage.
